Courier is a third party so they are not allowed to receive payments on behalf of Jozi Bugs.

COD is only available if you are collecting your parcel.


The only time you will need to supply card details is when you choose the "Payfast" payment option, although Payfast is one of South Africa's most secure payment gateways, you still have the option to select the EFT option. When you choose EFT payment option, you will receive an invoice with our banking details you can use to make an eft or cash deposit payment.

Shipping FAQ

If you stay in or around any of these major cities/towns:


Small towns, or any towns that are far from a major City, falls under an outlying area.

Please contact us should you be uncertain, and we will gladly check for you, if you fall in an outlying area.

You will receive an email update, with your tracking details, on the day that your order has been shipped. This email will contain a link, where you can track the progress of your parcel.

Yes, we have a 98% success rate with alive arrival. In extreme weather conditions, there can be a few fatalities.

Please contact us via email, and explain your situation, and we will get back to you as soon as possible (within 1 working day) to resolve the issue.

Yes, you can send your own courier to collect, however we do not accept liability for your parcel should anything go wrong. We do however, package your order to ensure it arrives alive and well.

No, we have employed a very strict bio-security protocol to ensure the highest possible quality feeders available in South Africa.

If you are at work, or not able to unpack your order, keep your parcel in a cool room, and open the box if possible, for extra ventilation.

If you can unpack your parcel, remove feeders from their shipping packaging into larger container (crates, bins etc.). Keep worms in open container, with no lids, in a cool place (20-26 degrees Celsius).

Please use your tracking number that was sent to you via email, to enquire delivery time directly with the courier. Delivery times vary, and it is hard for us to confirm an exact time for you.
